Silk Road Luminaries are inspired by vintage textiles from the area once known as Russian Turkestan, which was reknowned for its beautiful printed cottons in bright colors and intricate patterns. We have reproduced these patterns on a printed canvas wrap with a durable coating, then affixed the wrap to a glass cylinder to create these wonderful luminaries. The patterns are striking in normal light, but by adding the element of candlelight to these amazing designs they really come to life. Each luminary includes a metal hanger that will fit a tealight or glass votive candle.
